THE RESCO PROGRAMME
Equipping People For Employment
The Resco Programme provides participants with the opportunity to volunteer 3 days a week over a 16 week period in one of our enterprises. 58% of our graduates go on into employment having completed the programme.
The programme benefits participants by providing
- Recent and relevant work experience, giving participants renewed confidence and a good reference from a local employer.
- Training alongside their work experience which includes CV writing, interview skills, QCF (City & Guilds) qualifications in various related areas such as manual handling and health and safety.
- Tailored one to one support; this could include weekly mentoring, IT support, literacy & mock interviews.
soon started to love it"

Q. Who is eligible?
A: Anyone who has been out of work and wants to get back into work. The aim is to support people become work ready after a period of unemployment. Gaps in employment will sometimes be due to convictions, history of homelessness, history of drug/alcohol misuse, and physical or mental health conditions.
We ask that those recovering from addiction be 3 months abstinent, but we would happily meet the candidate with a view to them starting at a later date.
Lots of people refer themselves to the programme, but others are also referred to us by various sources such as charities, the Jobcentre and the probation office.
Q. How can I apply?
A: Anyone wishing to take part can fill in our webform found under the 'Applications' tab. Alternativley you can download our application form and send it to email@example.com. Once the form has been received the applicant will be contacted and invited for an informal interview. If successful, they will be invited to take part on the Resco Programme.
Q. Do you cover any expenses?
A: Each participant receives a daily travel bursary and we also provide lunch, snacks and hot and cold drinks for all our participants.
